Everything is pretty standard, close enough to downtown, but you have to get out of the car in order to put in your gate code!!!

Well I would say initially this might be an old review but public storage was great in the beginning of the local storage location where the gal locally that was there She was a very nice ,very helpful ,very polite but the last few months it's been nothing but harassing enaikk ok s goff red more money as they've been raise pricing or trying on me I was promised a specific price on a bigger space they claimed that it could be done Since then all I've been emailed and texted back-and-forth that I owe more money That they're charging more More for insurance they're charging more for other late fees and so now I don't like Public Storage and I'm going to be removing my things from there Very soon & it will be the last time ever deal with Public Storage Beware of Public storage I seen reviews of great experiences but mine has not been esp after a long trying unknown personal matter of where I was once living -only to have to been posed with this crap

I am very satisfied with the customer service and how she thoroughly explained every thing to me in an easy manner and was very polite. I especially liked how she got me in and out in a timely manner and didnt have to wait. I also like how clean the property is and very convenient location. We have had a one of the large storage units at Public Storage ever since our Fraudulent Foreclosure in 2010!!!!!. Seven years people!!!!! After owning 4 homes, our last home proved fatal and our Mortgage Company drop a bomb on us! It was only with the help of outstanding folks like Attorneys Durham Pinegar and Jones did we win our case. Thank you DPJ!!! Equally outstanding is Margaret at PUBLIC STORAGE. WE HAVE GONE TO OUR STORAGE UNIT NOT ONCE BUT FOUR TIMES to retreive a dining room table. Each time to no avail. And of course, I have put the blame for this on our Manager Margaret that just takes my frustration like a CHAMP!. NO WONDER SHE'S A MANAGER. MARGARET KNOWS HOW TO HANDLE PEOPLE. She has been kind and respectful even though every time I can't get in, the fault has been mine. Either I lost my keys that were just issued me, I didn't pay my bill promptly or some other reason but it was my fault. But every time she has remained calm, considerate and respectful. I've called with frustration to make my voice heard several times. I've remained respectful but my frustration has been noted from Margaret i am certain yet she is a true respector of the Company she works for. This is a RARITY THESE DAYS. Each time I've been happy to apologize to Margaret for my poor behavior. As well she graciously accepts it. And to boot she made me feel better by telling me she herself lost her own keys. ANY COMPANY WOULD DO "WELL" TO HAVE HER IN THEIR EMPLOY. Speaking as a previous Manager and Head Nurse of a Lucritive Medical Practice in Salt Lake City, I would hire Margaret in any capacity in a heart beat! GIVE THIS WOMAN A RAISE!!!! Show her you appreciate her!!! Margaret, I know I may have still your hand in thanks but this is a HEART FELT THANK YOU FROM MINE TO YOURS FOR GETTING OUR STORAGE UNIT OPEN SO PROMPTLY! This Public Storage is a little hard to find, but for it's proximity to downtown and value for the unit, I couldn't find anything to beat it. The office is also open on Sundays and communication has been easy unlike other places I tried contacting. Margaret in the office was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful. It can be a little hard to navigate a large truck and trailer in the complex when it's busy, but that's the only not-positive thing I could say.

Margaret, the front desk women is spectacular! She knows that people using a storage unit are probably going through a hard time, so she goes out of her way to make sure your experience with her is the best it can be. She is willing to let you in after hours if you make arrangements. The units are clean. And there are generally cheaper prices for the first month. Love love LOVE this place. Made going through terrible circumstances much better. If you need a storage unit, Margaret is your girl!

I reserved a unit online and within 2 minutes Margaret called me to confirm and set up a time to move in. I needed the unit asap and she cleaned it out before i got there in 15 minutes. Amazing Service!

I am Active Duty military about to depart the country for 12 months and needed space for my personal items. Went to the local Public Storage and was taken care of immediately by Margaret. She walked me to a couple different units so I could determine which one would hold all of my belongings. At that time I picked out my unit and we were able to complete all paperwork in about ten minutes. Overall the experience was great and I have zero complaints! **On a side note if you are active duty military make sure you let them know!

Motorcycle storage Salt Lake City

I was mainly looking for a secure location to store my motorcycle. I'm riding the motorcycle across the U.S. in stages. My last storage unit in Las Vegas was broken into so location is a key parameter in my decision. The office manager ( Connie ) that I deal with seems very sincere and knowledgeable. She gave me confidence the unit was secure.

Great Treatment but I'm lazy!

Everything was great! Location, customer service, price and unit. If only I didn't have to get out of my car to put in the access code upon both entry and exit. The entry keyboard is too close to the gate. I can take it, but in the rain, I might be annoyed.

Disappointed

The unit itself is fine and the employee who runs the lot is great and very helpful. However the price is what has us disappointed. We rented our units because we saw an add for a certain price. We even showed the add to the lot employee but he deferred to his boss whom we have never had contact. We were basically stuck because we had just moved to town and had no way to really go anywhere else. The price advertised was not the price we were given. When we finally got an answer it was that "Well all the prices are going up anyway so there is nothing we can do." That is a serious cop-out and not good customer service. To make matters worse, we were not even in the units for 6 months before our rent was raised. Kind of like adding insult to injury. If we ever need units again in the future, we will not look to Public Storage to fulfill our needs.
