Br careful with service

We rented a spot for our travel trailer while it was up for sale. Three different times I tried to submit proof of insurance, and all three times it failed. I tried to find somebody in an office, but KO apparently does not believe in customer service, as every storage site under the name no longer has offices in use, but rather leases them out to other companies, who never seem to use them as offices. At two locations where I used to rent storage rooms, I would go by the office on occasion and take care of business. Since KO took over, those offices are leased out and not staffed. I ended up paying for binder insurance on top of my RV insurance that I already had. To get out of this, I rented a space from a different storage company, who actually has people in the office on site. Wow! They actually have customer service! What a concept! Anyway, I got my RV out of KO and in another company's storage. It costs a little more than KO, but without paying for another insurance policy, it is less expensive than KO. I have learned my lesson and will NEVER again deal with a company with which I cannot speak to a person. Goodbye KO, and good riddance.

Clean facilities and excellent customer service via phone.

Chose this location that was convenient from Springfield Mo and Branson Mo. I have never seen a manager on site anytime I have been there. Would have been helpful when me and another person couldnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t get gate to open to leave. It was before closing time but couldnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t get hold of anyone from customer service by phone(after their working hours I guess) for help. Had to call 911 or local law enforcement for help. By the time they arrived we figured out a bird got caught in opening mechanism gears that prevented gate from opening. After we dislodged and cleaned out gears the gate did open. It was after the 9pm closing time before we got out. I called and left a message about the trouble but never heard anything back. I was just there Tuesday July 29th checking on my locker and contents. Very hot like 95 degrees outside. Not sure what range temperature or humidity is supposed to be in my climate controlled rental but it didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t feel like much cooling inside. And of course no manager on site to inquire.

I love move in SPECIALS

Price are very reasonable and competitive. The staff is great to work with over the phone and listens. For example after checking out my assigned spot I found out there was a spot better and a lot easier to back in to than the one assigned. They were very accommodating.and let me move to other unit spot. Storage area is well maintained and clean. Good security.

The only issue is the bldg isnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t labeled for units climate control and in bldg! Took long time to find my unit! Thatﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s the only issue I had! Your customer service young lady was excellent! She stayed on phone with me the entire time!

KO Are Idiots

In am a right above knee amputee. I rented a unit in the middle of August and spent quite a bit of resources getting my belongings moved in due to having to depend on ambulatory individuals in order to accomplish it. Tony Lentz fabricated a story about how around six other tenants had complained about me personally and he and Shaun from corporate in Minnesota evicted me on October 31st. They revoked my gate code and overlocked my unit, with no court action because they are so huge of a corporation and the tenants are mere chattel to be pushed around and intimidated. Tony Lentz and Shaun effectively made it impossible for me to access my belongings without the Gestapo overseeing the entire process. If you wash to be treated like shit and have your things stolen, go right on ahead and rent from the Minnesota Nazis at KO Storage.

The manager, Tony makes the whole experience enjoyable.

Tony helped me with a gate code problem. He also helped me with getting some of my things into my unit as I am wheelchair bound. His above and beyond attitude and personal touch make using KO Storage on 40th Street in Nixa a very satisfying experience.

This place is one of the nicest storage facilities youﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢ll find in this area. It has cameras everywhere and a gate in front. The unit itself is clean and spacious. The driveway around the building is also plenty wide enough for a big truck or trailer. Great customer service too.
