Excellent space, helpful staff, great value!
Their customer service is likely the best I have experienced in the service sector. After punching in our access code to enter the facility, they immediately sent a representative to greet us at the unit and have it unlocked and ready to use. The entire facility is spotless clean, and air conditioned as advertised. Lots of space in both elevators, and three loading docks so you don't have to fight with others for space. They also have dolley's and a bunch of moving carts to help, so you don't need to carry all your heavy boxes by hand. We completed everything online the night before, which took about 10-15 minutes to read and sign. Very easy, and comes with automatic payment options, plus insurance can be added. Would recommend to anyone. Also, during the recent covid situation, they have complementary hand sanitizer at the entrance, and everyone we saw was practicing social distancing wearing face masks. Felt very safe!

Jheromell Arcilla is the manager of this facility and consistently goes above and beyond the basic level of service I have experienced at other storage facilities. I highly recommend using this Acorn Self-Storage over any other option.

An excellent value and an awesome staff....a win / win!!!!
Was able to reserve a unit then meet the staff a few days later. All my information was already in the system so the amount of time to complete the paperwork and get the unit was m minimal The staff was awesome. Then a quick tour of the facility showing me my unit......OUTSTANDING!!! Place is spotless.

I'm pleased with this entire arrangement!
This is a no nonsense way to store and access your stuff. It's generally empty of other people, well lit, normal temperature, clean, dry, secure. I should have done this years ago.

Incredibly kind and helpful customer service. The facility is located in a sweet little neighborhood. There was a great emphasis on making sure all of our needs were met. Would recommend anyone looking for storage outside of DC but still close to the city use this place!

Excellent customer service, clean and easy registering process. Very convenient and excellent promo move in deal. shopped and this was the best deal in town. the locale is very well kept and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Secure,clean and very well maintained premises with easy load in/ load out accessability. All in all a very positive and good move in experience.

The agent at the counter made the biggest difference. She was great.

A rescue
Its been a relief for me to find this storage which is closer to my friends house.
I have been having such a difficult with moving and keeping my stuff in storage. its been hard since I relocated to get to my stuff since I move from said area. transferring's my stuff to Acorn storage in silver spring I feel like I can breath a little bit more. I can go there and go through my stuff and get rid of unnecessary stuff without leaving the storage. I am very thankful for that. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Relocating to a new start is not easy

Your advertisement of the facility was misleading. The ad stated $208.25 and a 15% discount. I read this to mean that $208.25 was the regular rate and I would thus pay 15% less than that. This led to an argument with management, while my furniture was being taken to my space by movers. Not a good beginning. I should be reimbursed for the extra 15% and your postings should make the regular rate clear.

No problem leaving my life here for a year!
I went in the day before I needed a unit. The staff was very helpful and supportive. I got in and out so I could take care of packing. Move in day was very smooth. Plenty of carts and the elevator access was nice. I'd definitely recommend.
