Cheap, easy, friendly customer service
This storage space was the most affordable I could find in Champaign-Urbana. The storage unit was a few miles west of the Frazier Properties office, so it is a little far if you live on UIUC campus or in Urbana. However, it is affordable, available 24/7, and has good customer service.

Would recommend
Good place to store things for a short while. It was the cheapest option in town but still has 24 hour access, the owner was very respondent to my short notice move in. Would recommend.

Nothing went according to plan
Basically, nothing went as planned. I didn't get the reservation I wanted and had to pay for a more expensive unit. I had called the day before to confirm and everything! Anyways, before that even happen, I was left standing in front of the office for nearly an hour before someone picked up the phone.... It was just a mess and, in my opinion, Frazier Properties Storage didn't handle anything well as they'd promise me.

Absent Service, Wasted Time, & Frustrated Client
Despite the fact that I called the day before my reservation and followed all the instructions to the T, there was a problem of arriving there, no one being at the office (I arrived 3 hours after they're supposed opening time), and no one answering the phone number posted at the door to call. Extremely unprofessional. Not only this, but after FINALLY getting in touch with someone (30-40min later), they tell me that the unit I reserved is no longer available (!!!!) and that I'll have to get another unit that's more expensive. Not only was my time and money wasted, but my patience hit an all time low. Honestly, I don't suggest this place at all.

Pretty Standard
The storage space is pretty standard. Nothing special. The place doesnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t have elevators and the units arenﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t temperature controlled. But the price is good and I got an extra month free!

Overall a good place to store your belongings.
This storage is a good price. The only thing is I wish they told us it would be upstairs with no elevator, but overall plenty of space that is clean.

friendly service, not as nice a facility as expected, would not go alone
The units are up a flight of stairs, you need to bring your own padlock, and it's way out in the boonies-- not a place i'd like to go after dark or by myself. Clean, though, and friendly service.

Move in day
I have never had a storage unit before but with Frazier Properties I made a good choice. No water leakage. Easy access 24 hours. And Paulette is wonderful. I also met Bob Frazier very nice man.

Excellent price, courteous staff, clean, BUT
I could afford only a 5x10, so I figured out what would fit within those dimensions. I brought along 3 shelf units and couldn't fit them where I wanted them to be because the roof was slanted at such a degree that I could not use the back of the storage room for anything more than a couple of trunks.

Bare-bones storage
Extremely inexpensive ($20/month!), and a good customer service experience. But I'm nervous both about the sanitariness and the security.
I wish there had been more metal between my stuff and the outside world.
Also, the first unit they showed me contained dead mice.
Less importantly, there's no elevator, so expect a workout getting your stuff upstairs. But on the plus side, perhaps that's a security measure -- if it was a pain for me to get things up there, maybe nobody will bother getting them back down.
Final gripe -- no automated online payments, so I have to remember to write a check each month. Not the end of the world, just don't move in here thinking you're booking the Ritz-Carlton.

Last minute change
We were assigned a unit up a long ramp. After we started up with the first load we saw that unit already had someone in it. So the owner switched us to another unit but not after having to haul the load back down to the truck and waiting. New unit is even further from the ramp and it's extremely hot I think boxes were sweating

Good & not expensive for last minute reservation, but would not recommend
The storage unit was on the second floor which I had to access from outdoors. The stairs were basic and wooden, and the bottom step was very steep. I was able to deal with it because I am fit, but other people may not, especially since they are moving heavy things by themselves on those stairs. Since it was outside, it's problematic to move things in bad weather. It was also extremely hot inside the hallway and the units. I was worried that my things might ruin or explode. The heat moving heavy things using stairs is very physically straining and sweaty. The lock on my latch would not open or close fluidly. The day I went there to rent the unit, I had to rent a zipcar to get there because I don't have a car. After renting it, they tell me that I need to bring my own padlock... luckily I had one with me in my gym bag, but if I didn't, then that would have wasted my time and money because I would have had to rent a car again just to bring a padlock. When they showed me the unit they realized that the light was not working, and said "oh we'll fix that later" but did not. Lastly, the office hours of operation were very restrictive; I think a storage unit should be open on a weekend day for at least a few hours. People are busy M-F 9-5.
