All around pleasant experience
I was able to reserve my unit a couple of days before my move into it. An issue arose but the virtual assistant we as able to get everything taken care in a fast and friendly manner. Everything was clean and felt very safe and secure.

Great Value
Looking for storage in Athens is always a mixed bag, from a unit that flooded regularly, to one with rats and doors that don't close, we started looking for a unit further from town. This place was such a find! It is cheaper than the non-climate-controlled units in town, is clean and easily accessible. It is super close to downtown and seems safer than some of the sketchier places that are inside the perimeter. Helpful staff, great rates, clean and safe facility.

New Owners bring 40% price increase and ZERO customer service
I started renting at this facility before it was bought by Midgard. Since it has changed ownership- I have had nothing but issues. They drafted my account without my permission ( I was NOT on auto pay) and have increased their fees 40% in the last 6 months. I have tried contacting the site directly- but have not received a response to any of my multiple attempts. I did speak with the manager from another facility ( Gainesville location) who seemed to have a very different approach from the Athens (Lexington Rd) location. She was helpful, respectful and took note of my concerns with Midgard. I have since tried to contact the local site to get help with other issues- and still no response. I would definitely recommend renting elsewhere if possible. This is not the company/experience you deserve.

Great security, great prices, awesome people
Prices were cheaper than most places and the added security with the gate and personalized codes made me feel like my things are that much safer. I would recommend midgard self storage 💯.
