Doubled our price after 3 months

For the record, This place is clean, the storage unit was what we needed, and the access was great. It was about five miles from the house which was awesome and the price was twenty dollars a month for a five by five unit. We were going to use it for about a year as we cleaned out the garage and made room for the christmas, halloween items, and other space consuming items we were storing in the unit. Now for the suck part. We got a notice in the mail that on January 21st our storage unit price was going up from 20.00 a month to 40.00 a month. Whaaat. Double the price. I don't think so for a 5x5 storage unit. That prompted us to accelerate our plans for the garage clean out and restructuring.Spent the next four days cleaning and organizing shelves in the garage and laundry room to accommodate the items in the storage unit. So we cleaned out the storage unit, and this past Friday 1/16/26, we went to close out our storage unit. We were told that that letter was an AI generated letter and they could override the price and keep it at 20.00 a month. That immediately pissed my wife off and she pretty much said F you. Why did you even send us the letter if you can override it and why didn't the letter say come in and let's discuss your new rate. We, my wife and I, had a discussion about how many people who have entire household items stored and got a letter that stated that and didn't go in and ask WTF. They probably just paid it and got the screwing of a lifetime. Which by the way, as soon as I got the letter I called the storage place, I got voice mail and left a message asking why they were raising our rate when we signed a contract for 20.00 a month. Please call me back so we can discuss. I never got a call, never got an email...nothing. So we moved out. Beware.

It was great experience to moved in into this place, new building, big elevator that made it easier to move all my stuff in a couple minutes, nice a neat place, office agents were very flexible to let me get the storage unit. Everything was excellent. Thanks to sparefoot to make me save money and time

Stephanie was rude and unprofessional

Having to move after the hurricane was bad enough, but to be treated so poorly by an employee was even worse! Stephanie was rude and unprofessional! After paying and getting the unit number, I drove around the building only to find there is only one working elevator, no place to park to unload, and no carts! The entire storage facility only has about four carts, which is not enough. This place is a nightmare! Stay away!

Hurricane Helene

We had flooding after hurricane Helene and needed to move items into a storage unit till we are able to reconstruct our home. The process as easy and everyone was very helpful and nice. This facility is new and very nice.
